Igor Tuveri, otherwise known as Igort ,was born in Cagliari in 1958. In 1979 he moved to Bologna where he created his first comic. He is the winner of numerous awards for his work. His prize-winning graphic novel about the Mafia, 5 is the Perfect Number, was published by Cape in 2004. He now lives in Paris.
