If you're a fan of Grisham, le Carré and all things in between this is for you. I was completely gripped from start to finish with this novel, no wonder it was picked as a Richard and Judy book club read! We start in 1952 in America when 20 powerful men get together in secret and plot to overcome the President of the US and a writer makes it his life's work to uncover the plot, after he discoveres a murdered body by accident in Harlem, New York. This book takes you through such an interesting period of American history and had me gasping at EVERY plot turn! Perfect reading and I promise I'm not just saying that because I work for Cape!
